Our story
Hello, I'm Lauren
I'm the heart and hands behind Rose & Bumble. From my home studio in Northern Ireland, I design and handcraft gifts and accessories in small batches, each one made with care, intention and hope.
Where it began
Rose & Bumble began during one of the hardest seasons of my life.
When depression meant I had to step away from my career, I found myself facing a future very different from the one I'd imagined. Creating became a way of bringing a little light into difficult days — and, slowly, that creativity grew into something I never expected: Rose & Bumble.
What began simply as a creative outlet became a small business built around thoughtful gifts, encouragement and celebrating the people and moments that matter.
My faith has been an important part of that journey. I'm deeply thankful for God's faithfulness through every step. I'm not “all better”, but I'm in a better place — and that is something worth celebrating.
From a small idea to a growing business
Rose & Bumble has been built from the ground up, without outside investment or grants. I've grown the business gradually, reinvesting the profits into materials, tools and equipment that allow me to keep developing new products and ideas.
Today, I create both ready-to-gift and personalised pieces, sell directly to customers online and at seasonal events, and supply independent stockists across the UK.
And despite that growth, Rose & Bumble is still very much a one-woman business. I design, make and develop the products myself — and that personal connection is something I never want to lose.
Gifts with meaning
Some Rose & Bumble pieces celebrate happy milestones. Others are created for encouragement, faith, remembrance or simply to let somebody know they're loved.
Perhaps that's why making them means so much to me.
Rose & Bumble grew from a difficult chapter of my own story, and I love that something created during that time can now be used to bring encouragement and joy to someone else's.
My hope is that what you hold in your hands means a little more because of the thought and care that went into making it.
A little recognition along the way
I was incredibly proud to see Rose & Bumble named a finalist in the Best Business in Ballymena & North Coast category at the NI Local Women Magazine Business Awards.
Being selected as a finalist following nominations from others was a lovely reminder of just how far this little business has come.
Thank you for being part of the story
Every order, recommendation, social-media share, event visit and purchase from one of my stockists helps this independent Northern Irish business continue to grow.
So when you shop with Rose & Bumble, you're supporting far more than a transaction. You're allowing me to continue creating, designing and building something that once began simply as a little light during a difficult time.
Thank you for being part of it.
